Hi everybody
New grower this year and we given a seed by a friend. I started this from seedling outdoors late. It started July 1st. I'm trying to sex the plant but seems like a male to me but I'm new to this. Can anybody confirm?
Thanks for the help

Hello good morning, so for this plant it is to early to tell sex.... Yes that's an odd little growth, but on your last picture one side (left) has the tear drop shape signaling possible female.....the right side just looks funny Neither male or female.

Just be patient and see what grows in the next few days. :)

Thanks for your reply. I'm just an impatient person. Have to learn to take it slow. I'll update more later in the grow. Hope the sun keeps shinning.
😂 We all are no worries. Do you have a journal started for us to be able to follow along?

If interested in starting one, I have a link down below in my signature that is a photo guide step by step on how to do it.

Have a bomb day.

It's been going good. Thanks fornasking. Fought off some spider mites. Growing strong. I'm still not sure what to make of it but I'm leans towards female.

Hi Kye

I can confirm your bad news unfortunately. We have all been in this situation and it's devastating.
I really feel your pain, as it happened to me on my first grow.
Just don't give up and try again.

I would highly recommend getting feminised seeds next time round though. It makes the grow more enjoyable and less stressful.

Check out our Sponsors for seeds. They often have competitions and give aways you can enter.

Free stuff is always the best stuff, but they also have huge discounts from time to time.

You have grown a healthy plant for your first attempt, so there's a positive feeling you can take from this.
Even my second grow didn't look as healthy as your first; so you are heading in the right direction

Sorry again to see this bad news.

Catch you around

Paul

Me again.

I would destroy every last molecule of that plant, just incase it spreads its baby makers to a nearby female. Pollen can travel some distance in the wind.

Looking forward to seeing your next grow. Tag me in next year or whenever you pop your next seed.

I definitely plan on making it disappear as soon as possible. I grow outdoors so I'll have to wait til next spring but I am looking forward to it. Glad to get this under my belt. I learned a lot. Thanks again for your help. Will let you know when the next grow starts.
