Neem use in Hempy feeding schedule?

So, I'm still fairly new to growing Hempy, and I'm wondering how folks use Neem in their Hempy buckets.
In the past, I've added to soil watering or sprayed.
I don't want to spray in my cab, so I'm considering just doing a side watering with 2tsp Neem/gal and a dab of dish soaps.

Thoughts?

I know Neem oil is more effective when used as a spray compared to watering it in, but it should work to just water with it since Neem is systemic, meaning the plant can uptake Neem and 'store' it in its cell structure

Those are my thoughts as well. If nobody with experience chimes in, I'll give it a try.
