Need some experts : 7th version of fudges

Hello,

I have made 7 versions of fudges and I have some questions :

I tried to always have the same steps :
Decarb in oven around 110°C for 45min and stir the weed every 10 min
And I make a water bath because I use salted butter for 3 hours minimum.
I'm using always 4g of Amnesia bud which should be at 22 or 23% of THC.
But with that quantity I make around 200 doses/pieces of fudges and it's still enough for me, but it should be around 2-2,5mg per piece.
Is that possible ? => 4g => 920mg THC (Do you count the losses with decarb and canabutter ? on some website they say 10% loss on decarb and 40% on cannabutter) So around 500 mg ?
My principal question is more about the timing that the first hit arrived : I have a similar timing high with each version individually (multiple experiences with my different versions) even if my stomach is full, but in some version I got a the hit around 1h15min and on the last one it's more between 30-40min, do you have ideas why ? Can we choose the hit timing with a particular step during cooking ?

I'm a real novice consumer, it probably explain why so little dosage hit me o_O😅

Welcome to 420Magazine Greg.
One thing I noticed was your not decarbing properly.
You need to decarb at 240 f for maximum efficiency. :Namaste:
I can't speculate on dosing or timing sorry.
Possibly someone here can though.;)
Hope everything works out my friend.
If you wanted to say Hi and meet everyone here is a link
Happy growing my friend. :high-five:

So, here's the math:
4 grams = 4,000 mg × .22 × .85 = 748 mg available ÷ 200 doses = 3.74 mg per dose

I use an efficiency rate of 85% since some of the goodies will stay with the plant material when you filter it. Butters and oils should be up around 85%, and something like vegetable glycerin will be less, maybe like 75%.

When you decarb the plant material you will lose some bud weight (probably 10-20% depending on how dry they were at the start), but not trichomes so as long as you have enough oil or butter or whatever you should get most of the trichomes to dissolve in the carrier so I don't discount anything in that step.

I do not do edibles but I do make salves/topicals for arthritic joint relief. I check the temperatures that others are using for decarbing whether they are also making topicals or edibles.

As far as I can tell his temperature of 110 Celsius is pretty close to 240F. Though, I do not think it will make all that much difference since the moisture remaining in the plant material will hold the temperature at about the boiling point until all water has evaporated.
