Need help with sick plants

These plants are turning yellow all over and drooping. Also, they have powdery white spots on them. They are in a 5 gallon bucket of soil with lots of drainage holes and I water them every 4 days with kind grow, base, and bloom with about a half gallon of purified water each. Any help would be appreciated.. Oh and they are in a 4x4 grow tent with a box fan on them and under a 1000 watt HPS light.. Thanks.

Re: Need help with sick plants..

Looks to be a massive problem with powdery mildew, like it was just left to rot. Do you have an extraction fan on top pulling air OUT of the tent? i have a 5 foot tall, 4 foot long and 3 foot wide Yaheetech grow tent and the most, and I mean MOST light my plants can handle in that size of a tent is 300W from my L.E.D. ,anything more and my plants find it to be too much for them, your saying you have 1000W HPS (alot more heat than my L.E.D. setup) inside a SMALLER tent than mine and plants dont like TOO MUCH light, contrary to some beliefs, plants have a correct amount of light that doesnt stress them out. To me it looks like the mildew combined with way too much light on them, then in a sense "try to get away" from being burnt and if they arent praying which is also a sign of stress ,they should be flat, smooth, and calm with a slight flutter from your fan. It seems these just couldn't take the heat anymore so to speak and just gave up. Raise your light or put something in that tent with lass wattage. My advice. Others may have some better input for you. Good luck!
