Need an opinion on keeping my plants

Ey everyone!

Starting a new grow with 10 Dr.Atomic Jam (northernlight x blueberry) 70/30Indica. All 10 germinated and sprouted within a few days. After growing for a week, I noticed most were not developing their leaves properly... Im wondering if this is a case of unstable genetics and will this correct it self over time or just get worse and leed to poor quality. I took some pictures to get an idea of what im working with.

Here is a shot of the grow room...I had 10 but had to get rid of 3 because of bad disfigurement

You can see smaller undeveloped leaves

smaller but shaped nicer so far with slow growth

All sprouted at almost the same time +/- 12 hours
I checked the little ones roots and noticed poor root development compared to the bigger 3 wich were transplanted because of possible root binding. Im wondering if any of these plants will be worth keeping or just start over with different seeds.

It looks like the soil is really dry and the plants look like they maybe underwatered. I'm new so I would do some more research but that is my opinion I hope this helps.:goodluck:

Your soil does look a little dry. The littler ones look decent, but the bigger ones do look unstable. The first 3 leaves are not developing properly. I would let them go a few more nodes to see if there is improvement. If the crack head growth keeps going on I would toss them. It's not worth seeing what wierd things they would do in flowering. At that point it would probably be best working with a new batch of stable seeds. However it's probably a little to early to jump to any conclusions right now.

The little ones do look ok but a week and a half and still on their first set of leaves with very little root growth in those little containers. I spoke with the seed company and they told me they would send me new ones so ill probably keep one or two of the bigger ones and see what they morph into. I hope i dont have to start feeding them meat... Thx for the feedback!

Here is week 2 since sprouting...

I
was looking at the sprouts roots and gave the one with the most the bigger pot just to see if...

Its frustrating knowing that i spent good money on seeds from a bank... and this is what i have to deal with...

Still waiting on my replacement seeds...

What do you guys think?? Keep the bigger ones(or just one) and germinate 5?10? more when or if i get my replacement seeds... ?

I'm not a soil grower, but you definitely should check your PH on a regular basis. There is some great info at this link for checking PH (and everything else you'll ever need to know!) Just scroll down a bit for some great links on PH measuring for soil, etc.

As far as the funky looking plants. My opinion is to give it a bit more time and make sure all of your environmental conditions are right first (PH, RH, Temperature, soil mixture, etc.) However, if you have a good handle on those things and it keeps growing funky, you might want to cut bait, so to speak. I've grown out funky plants like that before (twice it's happened to me) and been disappointed with basically zero usable yield.

Best of luck with your ladies!

Ey a little update... even tho this is not a grow journal... damn should of made one!..anyways, I got my replacement seeds and are now germing hopefully come out quick and join their buddies.

So I decided to germinate 5 more new seeds and only 3 sprouted... Ill try to give them 2 weeks of 18h days before I flip to 12/12. Took a picture for a little update... What do you guys think? 2 weeks might be much for the big ones...?

Hi Gerby - It really depends on whether you have height restrictions. If height isn't much of an issue, it's no problem to wait. Just remember that they will double to triple in height after you switch to 12/12.

So i started flowering a week ago and all three big plants turned female! finding some luck now... Here's a little update pic.
