Need advice please

This is our first year growing. We are growing outdoors in raised beds and most of our plants are almost ready for harvest. We would like to let them go at least another week, but we have rain in the forecast for this week and I'm worried about mold.

We're trying to cover as many as possible up so they don't get wet but we don't have enough canopies to cover them all.

Should we go ahead and harvest before the rain hits, or do you think they will be okay? Most probably have about 40% red/brown pistils, but there are still more white pistils than we would like before harvest. The trichomes are a mixture of clear and milky with well formed heads, and a very little bit of amber.

What strains do you have? Some are more resistant to mold than others. I would play the odds and harvest some before the rain if they don't have a cover. Mold and rot set in fast. A bud in the bowl is worth 10 in the rain.

Re: Need advice please.

How big are the plants? Maybe you can move them inside until the rain passes and that it's fairly dry outside with moderate humidity. If they are too big to move or don't have indoor space for them temporally try this method:

Get some 1/2 pvc pipe with joints at local hardware store and make frames for the plants. Also get some transparent or white plastic covers and cover the top and the sides, boxing the plants in while leaving 1/2-1ft of opening at the bottom for air. Make the frame 1/2 bigger than the plants to provide enough volume for you to walk in and check up on them.
