The most someone can do by only looking at a picture is to make an educated guess as to whether it is a Sativa or an Indica, but you can't really know which specific strain it is if it doesn't have a very very distinctive genetic trade, eg. blue leaves/buds (this will only narrow it down because there are several strains that grow blueish),
