Re: my plants arnt budding????

how old be4 12/12?

Re: my plants arnt budding????

You need 12 hours of comeplete darknees to trigger the bloom stage.Don't check when the light is off and how old are the palnts?(weeks?)

Re: my plants arnt budding????

i put them into flowering when they were about 4weeks old at 11 inches. they have small little buds with the 2 pistils coming out but thats at the end of week 2. i got som pics of the ladies so herer they are

Re: my plants arnt budding????

You are going to have to wait a little longer. No sex is visable in those pics.
Looks goo though, very healthy.

Re: my plants arnt budding????

Hydro plants grow 1/5 to 1/4 faster than soil plants but the maturing stage is normally the same.

Re: my plants arnt budding????

it also takes much longer if you flower b4 preflowers show in 12/12

Re: my plants arnt budding????

you cant see from those pics but there are little sprouts.(my camera suck i cant get all zoomed in like other can), they just havent grown since the first week of flowering.

Re: my plants arnt budding????

I think what he means is, if you put the plant into a flowering cycle before it shows it's sex naturally, that it takes longer for it to start fully budding. Which is true. 3 weeks isn't an outlandish period of time, I've know growers to have to wait 4 or 5 weeks of 12/12 for sex to show. Although, you are probably making it take longer lighting it up during it's dark period, not to mention stressing the crap out of it and greatly increasing your chances of getting a hermaphrodite. Basically, leave it alone when it's dark and be patient.

thanks for the info peoples today i checked on them when the light was on and they are budding now. i think my problem was that its jack herer and that strain has a kinda long flowering period 8-10 weeks.but atleast now i wont go in and disrupt my ladies sleep
