i hope i include all details- i am a forthright poster that gets stuff thrown in my face as i admit bad errors- it’s ok.
I am also a rambler , run on sentence nightmare
i will not take offense to a grammer cop-
I want to produce a high thc strain to press into rosin for my vape cartridges.
Experience
I have an outdoor grow- an indoor grow and my last indoor grow with several incredible errors allowing me to believe i can safely grow my 4th crop.
Strains -
3 gorilla glue and 3 northern light both auto
I am in a 5x5x5 box with 6” inline pumped in AC- My RH 25-60 and temps 69-85
3-clip fans
i’ll have a 4inch in-line exhaust attached to carbon filter
lights-
3- 9”x7” 400w COB led 3000k full S. 8- 3w Osram led lights
medium 70/30 ph correct coir and perlite
I have pre saturated the medium with 1 mil.gallon calmag and a smidge of HG root excelorator
I’m starting in 4” pre saturated - no nutes rockwool to be transplanted into 5 gal Air-pots.
Nutes - Foxfarm trio big bloom tiger bloom and grow big - i’ll use their feed chart-
I also would like to use Flora nectar - bud candy - HG Gold root exc. Cal Mag and Voodoo juice unless otherwise advised-
I am not seeding yet-
This is great to start before a paper towel gets wet and advise can be gleaned before i make my first mistake . Seeds are about 5 days out.
I have a humidity dome i’ll transfer the seed from paper towel to rockwool in the dome - then i’ll transplant in its last pot.
First question -
I ordered 5 gallon air pots- can i build up the bottom with a recommended spacer to make them 3gallons ? I can just add more soil if needed but i was thinking a couple chunks of styrofoam to fill the bottom?
Pictures will start tomorrow as i build my room.
