Og kush (fem)
Indica
In flowering stage for about 7 weeks-grown indoor.
Dimensions (L x W x D)- 24" x 48" x 72" grow tent
Soil-Fox Farm Potting Mix and hot soil
Light- LED 200 watts
Air cooled- Yes
Room Temp- 74-82 degrees
PH of media- about 6.5
No pest!
How often are you watering? Twice a day
Type and strength of ferts used? FoxFarm Nutes- grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom

I would like to give it 1 to 2 more weeks before harvest. She was definitely a little plant at the beginning but hey it’s my very first grow with hardly no experience. I have learned a great deal thus far and love the craft. I will
only get better with time. Also, I have in process is an Ultimate (auto), Cinderella Jack (auto), and Northern Light (auto). Started them out the gate with nutes (didn’t start my OG like that). Overall, like I stated earlier getting better with each grow. I’m looking for serious helpful feedback from
Growers. Thanks

7 weeks since the flip or 7 weeks since pistils appeared?

Nice girl but she’s not ready yet, I’m guessing 3 - 4 weeks left. All of those pistils are fresh & fluffy, when they all turn dark and crinkle up then you are getting closer. Do you have a jewelers loupe or mini microscope to view trichs with?

water away from the younger plants to draw roots to the outside edge.

see what other replies come in

Thanks bro... I purchased some microscope glasses and their on the way. Also, i agree with a few more week. I think the amber pistil will become darker brown. Yes, about 7 weeks when pistils appeared.

Looking good man, it’s hard to be patient but it will be worth the wait
I definitely been waiting patiently... it’s good being almost complete with her. I didn’t think she was going to make it in the beginning. Og kush plant is really moody . I will probably do it all over again in the winter with GDP, GSC, Blue Dream, and moody OG Kush

Tok

I been applying the 3 plants to far left nutes from day one. Going really lite on the nutes and keeping ph between 6-7 with foxfarm nutes big bloom and big grow. My OG that’s almost ready for harvest is my first plant and didn’t give nutes til I started giving the other three different strains. I wish I knew what I know now. My og would have been a bigger plant with better leaves. She’s very moody and started with the hardest strain to see if I could develop my growing craft. I must say I think I got the hang of it and it’s showing in the 2 smaller plants in the middle. I will wait for about 2 more weeks til I harvest og flower.

Don’t mean to hijack this thread :), can you recommend a good quality loupe or mini microscope? Couple I’ve tried were not very good.

What seed company did you use?

To narrow it down to plant.

Tok..
Tok,
Og kush fem/ Northern Light GrowersChoice, pretty good service and fast delivery. The only concern I have- pop 6 to get one. Utimate auto/ Cinderella Jack auto received from Dutch Passion, pop on my first seed drop. Nice strains so far to young to tell but will send update photos when more mature.

Hey charliewaffles,

maybe operator error and I’m not trying to be a smart ass either....the big problem I’ve had with either version is stability. It’s impossible for me to hold it and view anything so for checking trichs I snip a small section of top calyx and lay it on the table then try to prop the loupe to view /adjust accordingly same for pests stick ‘em with scotch tape and then scope them. You will need to adjust the aperture and focus too. On the mini microscope same thing - use the tripod for stability and place your work under it to zoom or focus, some models even have adjustable stand almost like a miniature drill press. I just checked and mine is actually a no name brand version that’s made in China - it’s a usb or WiFi enabled its pretty new got it 2 months ago so I’ve only used it a once but wish I had more info. When you magnify out to 30X which is standard for a loupe even the tiniest bit of movement makes it impossible to see.

the bar code says X002KWYDHD wifi digital microscope - hope this helps!

Yes Sir. Thank you.

Thanks bro. This information does help. I really appreciate.

I believe this run will be an test run for the types I have available. I will only run with the same type of flowers next time to prevent so many different flowering time. Overall, I’m happy with the experience I’m gaining during this process. I will continue to to work hard at it and send updates. Thanks again for the help.

This is a rough and your harvest time is all over the place.
This is all flowering time.

Auto Northern Light around 6 to 8 weeks.
OG Kush roughly around 9 weeks
Ultimate Auto around 12 weeks seems long to me.
Cinderella Jack Auto around 10 to 11 weeks

Did you flip them all the same time?

Hope this helps,

Tok..

No flipped at different times. Next up is the Cinderella jack. Phase 2 part 1... she looks pretty good, have been feeding her nutes the whole time. I will up it 4 times instead of 2 times a week. Cola are starting to fatten up in early seeding stage. Photo below auto Cinderella Jack

General speaking you plant look very healthy except the one on the right.

She screaming feed me.

Just remember when you try too sway multiple ladies, they rule.

No doubt, i came in with a little plan from the start. I wanted to ensure that I could develop a skill before going to other types. That’s why I started with the hardest plant OG Kush fem not auto. I developed the patience for a hard strain. Now, working with auto is a breeze. I have the right recipe. I’m really looking forward to this fall/winter season.
