My First DWC Grow - Unknown Strain

When I plant in the middle of the netpot it usually takes 9 to 12 days before I see a root out of it.

I've found if you can control temps in res set it to 25c/77f roots appear in a day or 2

I also have 1/2" and 3/4". It works fine with a 320 gph pump. If I were to do it again I think I'd use 1" on the bottom for really, no particular reason.

Me too. MY pump is about 365 gph. I wanna go up. I would like the return water to go back into bucket with a Little more force to create more RO.

I have black tubing to swap out with the clear air hose. Been kinda lazy. Haha. Prob swap tomorrow. Ordered some and it was junk. Found some at our local Atwoods that's awesome.

Should I trim a few fan leaves. They are blocking main shoots. I've topped three times. Going to tie some branches back soon. Been thinking about a Scrog net.

I know if it was mine I'd trim a couple or three of the fan leaves that are blocking light out. Sure can't see it hurting anything.

I have four plants. I trimmed the other three. This one is way bushier than the others. Hard for me to decide.

I'm a leaf tucker, not so much a plucker. I use the large fans as indicator leaves later in bloom. Lazy Grower Style.

Since I run such a low nutrient level and don't check pH I watch them close later in bloom. When they start being cannibalized badly I up my ppm. Nothing scientific, just my method. Plus it gives me a reason to be lazy and not do a lot of work trimming, I just take my hand and run it down through the plant pushing fan leaves down and under.

I mostly tucked leaves but really tempted to cut them. I cut the other three. I wish it were easy to tie the limbs. No hooks on the lids. Could use gorilla tape I guess to hold the ties. Btw. These are bubblegum funk. I found out from my nephew after I had started this thread. I have done a terrible job with this journal. These plants aren't even the ones I started with. This is fifth week of veg. Prob change light to 12:12 at eight weeks.
My next journal will be better.
