Mutant stem

This isn't really a problem, it's more like a curiosity. Wondering if anyone has seen this before.
The stem is a fat 1/2" wide one way, a scant 1/4" the other. The stem right next to it is normal, round, 1/4".
The mutation started about a week or so into flowering (the bottom half is normal)
Strain is Liberty Haze, grown in DWC, 6th week of flower.
I'm not complaining understand - look at that crazy bud

Thanks, Buckshot. That's the same phenomenon for sure.
I wonder why it's only on one stem - the rest are normal. Seems like if it's genetic, the whole plant would be doing it.
She is flowering at the same rate as the rest of the plant. I'll update this post after harvest.
The next question, if it seems worthwhile, is can I clone her - since she is in flower - and preserve this growth pattern?
Would tissue culture work?
Something to look in to, it might be fun.
