FloridaBud and I made Sweet Cannabutter together! Very easy to do. We used the 7 Easy Steps to Make Cannabutter, and it turned out very well. We let it cool and settle overnight, then I used a warm knife to go around the outer edge of the cannabutter. We store ours in a ziplock bag in the fridge. Last night we used it to make turtle brownies. They were sooo good! We stayed stoned for hours and hours! Lol!

^ Thanks! Yes, they were very good. I thought they might be gross with the bud flavor, but actually it wasn't as strong a flavor as I thought it might be.

I've been looking for a good turtle brownie recipe.
My first cannabutter had a very strong flavor, but I do so assume that the better the bud the better the butter!! I only had some lower grade weed to work with, and I couldn't wait so had to use a smaller portion of butter.
 
Lol! The bud I used was some of the nastiest weed I've ever smoked! I dreaded coming home everyday knowing I'd have to smoke it, cause I had nothing else. I used a quarter of bud to 2 sticks of salted butter. Actually, I just used a boxed brownie mix. I think it was Betty Crocker Turtle Brownies. I just replaced the oil they say to add with melted cannabutter. Ghirardelli has a good caramel swirl brownie mix, too. Yum!

But the funniest part for me is that the herb I used in my cannabutter was better than the stuff I have now, which is very, very seedy. I'm bummed cuz I can't get any of the good stuff :kiss:right now, :straightface:
I'm looking forward to many more creative ways to effectively use cannabutter. --

I am going to try this one of these nights this week! I've got a LARGE bag of trim to use somehow - should make a lot of butter! Sounds like the process is a nice bonding experience too! :smokin:

They were yum, I really didnt taste it in the brownies, I ate like 3 of them the other night and didnt feel anything, went to bed hour after i ate them and woke up few hours later tore up like a shop rag, It was a different type high that I experienced. But really enjoyed it, Miss Fox did great!!

Hmmm... Actually I was thinking of my next victim, oh I mean my next recipe. ;-) How about a cookie recipe? Mmmmm. Peanut butter cookies with peanut butter chips? Or cinnamon raisin cookies with chopped pecans or macadamia nuts? Or oatmeal cookies with raisins. I heard someone was interested in Snickerdoodles which happens to be FloridaBuds favorite!

Ya'll throw somethin out to me, and I'll make it and post pics!

Ok if you make em before me, you gotta tell me how they are. Since you suggested, I will make these next... unless I get a recipe for the maple frosting... ;-)
