Mother plants growing out of the tent!

Hi guys!
I have a problem regarding my mother plants. Both of them are reaching almost the roof at the tent! Can I just cut the top of or further down the strain?

if they are mothers then they are still in veg right?
if so you could take the tops for clones or you can Lst them. I think I would Lst them

I don't have "mothers" ... but I like to veg some longer to get some size on them before flowering. I just top them. Depending on the strain I may do this 2 or 3 times or as many times as it takes to get the stalk where I want it and keep the plant small enough for the veg tent. This creates bushy multi top plants.

I have two mother plants, and I have now tried with one of them to cut the strain 20 cm down, and removed the largest fans. Hopefully she will over-live this.

if they are that big im sure you can get medieval with the shears and they will be fine i have chopped 2/3ds of a mother and they are bushing out again in a week so no worries on that i think you will be fine and lst is great!
