I'm beginning my 17th indoor grow since I jumped back into cultivation back in 2017 after 12 years off. As with all recent grows I'll be utilizing my well-worn Sun Systems HPS bulbs and ballasts. I've added a 100w LED into the mix for early veg. I still haven't made the jump to using all LEDs, mostly due to the expense, and not wanting to fix something that's not broken. Here's the specs:

This grow started off with lots of problems. Germination was a challenge. I germinated an extra 5 seeds for insurance, and I ended up needing them. I had one Peyote Forum seed that turned out to be a mutant, so that got pulled. Then everything grew terribly slow for several weeks. In retrospect now, I figured out that I made the mistake of putting the germinated seeds into straight Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. I think it's just too hot for seedlings. I usually start them in straight ProMix BX, then up-pot into COM. At any rate, after a VERY slow start, they finally seem to be settling in and I'm optimistic for a normal harvest, just with an extra two to three weeks of veg.
