What it is, what it ain't 420? I'm back to try this again. I had some issues last go round and I abandoned my last journal. Crop finished solid minus bushes full of seeds but hey I won't be running short anytime soon.
What I got:
3×3 veg tent 600 W MH adjustable ballast
4x2.5 flower tent 1K HPS adjustable ballast
Roots organics soil and nutes
5gal fabric pots and 5 in net pots
Currently growing
Flower tent : Thai-tanic from seed (I think)
12/12 light schedule

Veg tent: AK-47 from seed, House Blend Kush (1st run of my genetics), AK-47 clones
18/6 light schedule

Now that I got this app I can post on the fly. The goal is to chop something every month or two. Let's see how long I can keep this going. Thx for viewing.

What it is, what it aint 420. I'm not doing much in the room today. I did put my pot on wheels tho.

Sprayed a lil water on the AK47 clones.

And HBK is just chilln. The only not to be topped, yet. Thinking about doing an auto. I got the beans just never had a desire to grow autos. But if I want to chop something every month I'm may wanna throw a few in here and there.

What is the hold up on auto? I'm neutral to the idea just wondering about your thoughts? pros and cons. I tried some years ago before they were stable like today's autos. The fast growth is fun! I just had small yield and fluffy buds. At the time I was used to getting huge rock hard nuggs off a skunk #1 x blueberry. The autos of that time couldn't compare. I see amazing work being done with them now. I'm considering getting some to try again.

I was never sure how the autos would grow alongside the regular crop. Poor excuse I know. I did just drop a Narco Purps Auto last night and a I think a bag seed Green Crack (I didn't label it) just sprouted this morning. I'm going full retard on this until moving day Dec/Jan time frame. Then comes the expansion.

Update
That NarcoPurps Auto I was talking about just pushed through. Starting day 1. Green Crack day 3 I think. Ak47 and HBK on stand by waiting on transplant. Not in a rush to flip them just yet. Still haven't topped HBK.

What should be Thai-tanic is on day 3 of the flip.

Veg tent is doing nice. A little curling of the leaves on AK 47 and HBK. They ready to transplant. I have a sneaky suspicion that my HBK is a boy. Too early to tell some may say. Well let's just say I've been here before. Fingers crossed.

No stretch yet in the flower tent. I did perform a defo. This one is spotting out so many bud sites tho.

Still trying to decide who's up next in the box. Probably "AK" because I did take 4 cuts for clones. 2 of them should be good 2 go in a few days. Not sure when I should attempt to pot them tho. Worst case I make some seeds and try again.
I really only wanted 2 plants in flower but I'm not really trying to wait for narco purps to do its thing. I may let narco purps flower in the veg tent. Or is that a bad idea even tho it's an auto? I can and may do 3 plant. Gets all the biguns out the veg tent b4 planting anything new. Welcome to any suggestions.

What it is, What it ain't 420? Today's update is AK47 has a new home. That's right she's now in her 5 gal fab pot. Still in veg tho. Still not pressed to flip just yet. Took one of the AK clones and threw it in a pot. IDK what's gonna happen but here we go. Narco Purps Auto is moving along so slow! I mean Green Crack pushed thru 1 day b4 I think and look at the difference. So far, not a fan of this auto. What else we got? HBK, strong as ever and also ready for a transplant. Gonna hold off one more week at least. May see what she can do with this lil 5 in. Sike.

And now the flower tent. Still no stretch. I also didn't go dark for 24 plus hours either. Did some twisting of the stems and applied water.

So, I tried a different watering strategy this go round. I attempted to allow the media to dry b4 each watering. Everything seems to be growing entirely too slow this way. B4 I would water until run off every day or 2. Nothing has changed with the soil. Nutes are the same but Im not feeding them but once every week if that now. B4 it was 2 or 3 times a week. Not sure why the change. Regardless now that I know commercial growers keep plants in veg two and three months b4 sending them to flip, I follow suit. Can't hurt a plant by allowing it to grow big and strong, right. Maybe this way it would be possible to achieve hydro growth in "soil". Any thoughts?

I let them dry in veg but once stretch is over I just water normally because the roots are no longer searching for water now I just want them to drink.

Cool that works. I also thought that maybe the root ball isn't branching out as if it was grown in the 5 gal from seed.

Thanks for the well wishes, I'm doing much better now. Got some homework to catch up on now.

What it is, what it ain't 420? So last you saw I was doing some bending in both tents. Well needless to say both parties bounced back quick. We gonna start with the flower tent.

I see some stretch starting. I had a dream and my tent had these massively tall plants. Which isn't normally a bad thing. Just gonna cross my fingers, wait and watch. As for the veg tent...

Ak47 bounced back and bushed up over night. As u can see, no transplant shock. She's gonna be a beat.
HBK I'm still leaning to being a boy. I topped it finally and now the clone is in the works. I won't repot until the clone can show me the money.

AK47 clone isn't dying so I guess she's got roots.
Lastly narco purps, the auto is not growing up top at all. I'm hoping that means all the action is going on underneath. Would be nice to get both at the same time.

The Veg Tent

So the the stretch is real. I found out my light timer is broken at around 1230 when I walked in on my lady still sleeping. Wake up is at 8 lights out at 7. Crazy enough one I swith the lights on using the same timer the turn off on schedule. A little extra darkness never hurt. Did a little trim work down low. Now she clean and fed. Now I can sit back and watch the buds grow. Guess it's time to switch to the bloom nutes.

What you was saying about the root ball maybe not stretching since its in five gallon bucket is true but that also has a lot to do with your watering technique

Today's Flower Tent update, all is good. I was running my 1k at 75% along side the 600. Circuit can't handle both at 100%. So now flower is at 100 and veg is at 50. I veg longer anyway so no big deal I guess. Gonna get a 600 watt led panel to switch out the 1k with. Eventually. Any way as I said all is well.

Now the veg tent

Narco Purps Auto is still slow.
HBK Clone is still standing, as is AK47 Clone.

Green Crack is no record breaker yet.
HBK is just working out dem roots. The root ball gonna be solid soon if I don't move up pots. I don't think I'm going to until after that clone can show me something (sex).

Last but not least AK47 bounced back again. So I did this.

Gonna keep bending and breaking until I decide to flip. Should be a monster when I'm done.

I haven't fed anyone in 2 days I think. Gonna add them bloom nutes and feed Thai-tanic. Gotta keep her happy.

Well it seems she needs some Magnesium so today I feed. Glad I picked up that cal-mag last grow. I so wanna throw AK47 into flower with Thai but it's not time yet. Trying to keep chops a month apart. In addition I did kinda go bend crazy and snapped a stem. So I'll give AK til the first to heal up.

Now the veg tent is cooln. HBK and AK47 clones are good to go. I wanna send HBK over to flower to find the sex. I just don't wanna waste a clone if it is a girl. Waste meaning, baby plant makes baby bud. Guess thats the only way to find out.

Narco Purps is finally showing life. . I also took a cut from Lil mama Thai in the flower tent. That's the one that looks out of place in the baby solo cup.

I think that's it. I can't wait until I move. Then I will build a room and focus on genetics. Im still gonna grow "the good stuff" but, I have a few ideas for breeding a few strains. One of which will be able to grow in extreme heat. . That's all I got. Til next time, I'm patiently waiting for the 1st. Oh and I just talked myself into moving HBK Clone into flower. Fingers Crossed.

Thai over in flower is doing her thing. Gonna have to watch my phone levels. Always ignored it but now I will atleast know my ranges. Was at 7ish from tap after sitting. Will adjust for the next feeding.
Veg tent is still getting fuller. HBK Clone died. Or is close to anyway. Thai clone died. Good news I had another cut sitting in water and it is still alive. Gonna use do it the right way this time. Also I had a cut where I used no clonex just a plug and it is still alive. My very first attempt at cloning and its from Thai b4 the flip. Time to get serious. Temps will be on the high side but I can perfect everything else.
Phone has no memory so I have to delete some stuff so I can take pics again.
I have a new bucket filled with soil from a past grow "cooking". Wasn't much in the way of root matter to pull out so I don't think I will have problems there. I have seen the error of my ways tho. Too much water doesn't allow the roots to beef up. Yea the spread out but not nice and fat. Maybe an affect from air pruning? It is my goal now to create a solid, cannalope sized root ball from here on. HBK may be the first. It's time to up pots but even if it's not a lady I got some good pollen coming for ak47 or Green Crack.

What it is, what it ain't 420? Lots going on. Not a lot of time to post about it. My phone is still acting stupid. Never been dropped outside the case mind you. Factory reset and it still don't wanna let me take pictures. I won this time tho. 3am I took theses weak photos.

OK so I guess I didn't win. Anyway HBK is in its new pot. Narco Purps I'm not stressing. Green Crack and the clones are living. Thai-tanic is budding nicely.
I'm a little bit salty my pics won't upload but I'm a work it out. I'm going back to class. Ya'll be good or be good at it.
