I think I would be a nervous wreck if I grew outside. I would probably be sleeping in the greenhouse.

Ya I pretty nervous now. They smell a lot and now since a big parcel of land opened up I'm afraid of getting ripped off.

Off to look at some sensors that will alert me from Home Depot.See what they are like.

Seriously the stupidity of government baffles me.

Here covid jump 500+over the weekend.
closing bars, clubs, closing liquor stores at 10pm.
We are starting to shut down again.

However, we are opening our schools! Wtf!! Honestly. I work in the school's as an EA. No smaller classes. No social distancing can happen because of the amount of students per classroom. What you see on tv is delusional, of course shown without 20-30 student per class. I work with grade school students. Day 2 of prep for it and nothing really has changed other than masks. Seriously. Good luck keeping them on kids from 815-3! Wtf honestly. What about the welfare of others? Families? Venerable people with compromised immune systems. What about the elderly that some of these student live with. What about those that live in multigenerational family homes.

I can't imagine runny noses, coughing, touching, playgrounds, PE, lunch times, snack times, carpet times, and then there are those with special needs over and above all the others that maybe behavioural. That is who I mainly work with extreme behaviours. At least once a day I'm reaching, holding, supporting, chasing bolters, and using crisis intervention prevention all day.
I love my kids and my job but the lack of structure and preventative measures makes me question if I will continue. We don't get extra or hazard pay.
Oh it's allergies, a cold.... we will hear that all day long till a positive case comes and THEN we will shut down.
I know parents want them back for the most part and I get it. It's a change and shift for everyone. I'm a Momma of 3. I get it but not worth their health. There are so many ways to school n teach hybrid or on line even half days so class sizes could be smaller. Do Rec, science, and PE outside. The best place to learn about nature and science.

I'm sorry I'm ranting but honestly wtf comes to mind. Come on School Board you can do better that this. Haven't heard anything about hiring more sanitary cleaners....

All I can say is
BULL....!

They went back to school last week here now 5 schools have cases. My sister in-law is a teacher and she is terrified.

I know the teachers I work with are scared and we have no choices.

Thanks Smokey. Your garden is delicious! When are you harvesting or are you just waiting till they tell ya?

I will be harvesting in the next day or two.
So exciting!!!

Hey what do you think about trimmers?? Do you know anything about them? I was thinking of renting one if I could find it but I don't know. What are the good ones and why? What to look for and what not to?

I just don't know that I can do all this alone. I mean I have in the past but if I can find an easier way. I'd be open to try. I'm just nervous it may shred them instead of trim them ya know?

I couldn’t agree more about the schooling, we decided to home school our two this year. We feel bad taking them away from the social aspect of school, but figure the pros of keeping them healthy comes first. It is sad that nothing was done throughout the summer to make our schools safe for the kids and teachers. Even sadder that they remain open despite having positive cases reported.

I’ll end my rant here. Your garden is looking great as always, if we lived closer I would volunteer to help with trimming!

Stay safe, momma.

Looks great!!!!!
Happy to see you have a nice crop!
fabulous!:high-five:
Guess you didn't look too close It's not MJ Its my covid meds
My mom wanted me to grow lavender & she bought seeds but it was Lavender Hyssop. Couldn't sell it so ended up with a bunch left.
When I did a search on it found out it has medicinal properties, which are it treats respiratory illness (eg bronchiolitis)

Thanks Dutch

I'd do the same. I just realized I have to think of parents that feel they have no choice but to send them. I'm sorry. I feel your hard choices. Stay well... Kindness wins:love:
