My next grow I am setting up a modular scrog, courtesy of Home Depot.
They have tomato cages for 3 bucks apiece that just have one ring and three vertical spikes.
Also garden fencing in coated wire. I could not find 2 X 2 inches, but did find 2 X 3 inches - close enough.
Each plant gets its own personal screen, so it can be moved, watered, whatever, individually.
I already have 6, 5-gallon soil buckets for my 2 X 4 foot tent. I haven't decided to do 6 plants, or 4, or 3.
That's the beauty of modular scrog. I have a roll of fencing and can cut either 12" X 16" (for six plants), 12" X 24" (for four plants) or 16" X 24" (for three).
Is anybody else doing this? It seems like a very easy way to get the benefits of scrog with the flexibility of accessing and moving individual plants.
My next grow won't start for a couple weeks or a month. Will post pics then!
