The Missouri Secretary of State has approved a petition calling for a constitutional amendment to legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes.
In order for this to get on the ballet pro-pot supporters must get roughly 160,000 valid signatures on the petition.
The American Academy of Pediatrics and The American Society of Addiction Medicine are both against medical marijuana laws.
If you are interested in supporting this petition, New Approach Kansas City is hosting a fundraising event on January 11 at the Rieger Hotel Grill and Exchange.
