I am planning a lighting upgrade from a 400 watt hps w/ 14 x 21 hood to a 600 with a 6" magnum xxxl. I just came across a good deal on the magnum, but i have to save a bit more for the ballast. I'm in desperate need of a larger reflector right now. I really don't want to waste money on a hood i don't want. Do you guys think my 400 has the gusto for the magnum for a bit?
