Nevada County's year-long moratorium on any opening of a medical marijuana dispensary could be extended another year next week.
The Board of Supervisors will consider the extension, allowing county officials time to develop "an ordinance either allowing or prohibiting medical maijuana dispensaries i the unincorporated area," according to county documents.
Supervisors will meet starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, at the Rood Administrative Center in Nevada City. The dispensary moratorium is scheduled to be discussed at 1:30 p.m.
