A medical marijuana grower was shot at by a group of suspects after refusing to sell them drugs without a perscription, said the Seattle Police Department.

The incident occurred Saturday night around 11:30 p.m. when three men knocked on the door of the victim's home near 54th Avenue South and South Roxbury Street. The victim operates a small grow and dispensary at his South Seattle home, police said.
The victim said he spoke with the men through his front door. When he realized that none of them had a note from a doctor allowing them to purchase marijuana, he told them he could not sell to them. After that, one of the suspects allegedly tried to force his way in, prompting the victim to blast back at him with pepper spray.

In response to the pepper spray, one of the suspects fired multiple shots into the victim's front door. The victim was not injured, and the suspects fled.
