Another initiative to put medical marijuana on the ballot in 2014 has been sent to Pulaski County Circuit Court.
Arkansans for Medical Cannabis were at the superior court building Thursday morning to file a petition with the supreme court addressing the Attorney General's failure to certify the proposed ballot presented earlier this week.
According to the group, the clerk refused to accept the petition and sent them to Pulaski County Circuit Court.
"If we don't get satisfaction on this in particular, we will resubmit a different piece of legislation or different initiative," said Arkansans for Medical Cannabis spokesperson Robert Reed.
The ballot was reportedly rejected due to several grammatical errors.
