So were 6 days into my beginner grow ive got one hydro and one soil grow under my belt hydro went good soil a flop last time, advice is welcome but remember im experimenting and learning as i go. At this point she is in a clear cup inside a solo cup 3/4 full of coco loco and 1/4 kind soil at the bottom seed was started on 10/10 12 hour soak in water two days in a paper towel then into the cup with where were at now. Everyone welcome dont be scared to chime in never trained before would like to try with this one if things work out

Kind Soil third the way up from the bottom

3 gallon pot

2x2x4 tent

single 400 watt led light running 24/7

Simple fan Dasani water and away we go!!

I'd probably skip the Dasani water. According to the label, it contains magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, and sodium chloride in it. I doubt your plants will need the latter. Also... It's been a while, so this might have changed - but the stuff was once tested in the UK and found to have illegal levels of bromate in it. Which might cause one to wonder what else they put in the bottles that never makes it to the ingredient list (and which, if any, are also known to increase one's risk of cancer).

I agree with you its just what i had handy when i watered down the little cup. I still looking at options leaning carbon filtered tap water. Thanks for having a look and for the input.

Little update day 7 humidity got kinda low for a few hours but we got it lined back out

And day 8 humidity is settled around 50 with temps 79-80 no roots showing in the cup yet but she is growing ive added a small bit of water round the time to keep the fan from blowing my dirt out and also to help get alittle extra humidity

Day 9 brings some more growth and some visable roots. Everything seems to be ok with the light running 24/7 so far. Swapped out water for Aquafina which is purified by RO and has a decent ph cant find my PPM or PH gauges atm so we tested with the drops. Tent is sitting steady at 58 percent humidity and temps steady 79-80.

Day 11 things look good to me roots are hitting the kind soil now

At what point do you plan to transplant that into its larger container? I know there is some debate on how soon that should be done with autoflowering strains.

Im not real sure my thinking is let a bit of roots grow before sticking it in the bigger pot, my mind says within the next week.

Day 22 some water and some pictures. Wondering if I need to put some distance from the plant and the light to try and get some vertical growth or just let her do her thing.

Day 24 with some photo bombs. I think things look good plant is short no discolor anywhere temps and humidity been steady lights been on 24/7 still cut them for a sec to take some pics tho. Lets get some imput what does everyone think is she gonna get very tall or just bush out. And by very tall i know thats relative but for referance she is 6 inchs tall at the moment from the soil.

Day 31 getting on a foot tall some nice stuff going on looks like wondering if i should bend the top over and tie it any advice would be welcom.
