Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

What would be the best reflector series unit for a 4x4 veg mode only!! Peace!!

i agree with the others, if your going to only have the veg switch on then the 144x5 would provide the optimal amount of light for fast and healthy growth but you could probably get away with 2 98x5 lights as well. you can check out my current grow under the 144x5 in my signature, i have 5 auto's in 5 gallon pots that are loving the lights only veg switch on and 8 seedlings in a 2x4 area so i would recommend that set up from experience :Namaste:

thank you very much, Uncle.:thanks: :thumb:
I agree with LEDbud. The light colored speck marks are indicative of either a spider mite or aphid infestation.

Light burn from LED's can also leave speck marks but in this case it does appear to be a pest problem.

Both spider mites and aphids will multiply very quickly. Unless something is done about it they can weaken or even kill a plant in a very short amount of time.

There are several methods to treat both spider mites and aphids. Most of the methods will work to kill both.
Note that most organic pesticide products that treat mites and aphids will require multiple applications (about once every 4 to 7 days for a period of 2 to 3 weeks) in order to break the reproduction cycle.

As long as you react soon by implementing a proven pest control program for mite/aphid treatment your plants should be ok and make it to harvest.

:circle-of-love: Hi Kogs, now the old model 600w has two fans.:Namaste:
Hi, Sara. Could you tell me how many fans are on the upgraded old model 600w. On EB, I see some pics that have one fan, and some that have two fans.

I am very excited to be selected to test the new light. Hopefully it will be smiles and not tears that I am sharing!!!! :) When the light gets her I will start a new journal for it specifically so people can ask questions and make comments. Thank you for choosing me and I will do my best to see what the new light can do!!! :thanks: :peace:

It seems abnormal to me. Does anyone know whether it will be ok? Thanks in advance for the help.:thanks:

I grew a girl scout cookie scrog a few year ago that looked like that and worsened till harvest. I think it was down to PH I hadn't ph'd that grow and also there was a build up of salt in the bottom of the pot at harvest I think from using bad salt based nutrients.

I keep getting red streaks in main stalks and deep red purple leaf stems.I've ran same strain before under different lights other than marshydro but the red steaks and stems where not there.
I use coco/perlite and use calmag 5ml/gal,botaicare once a week but they still come back
I don't get during veg just mid flower.
I use 144*3.
Anyone know what may cause red and purple in stalks and stems using marshydro gear?
I've seen many other posts with same issue, but so far no solutions.

Get them under a MH if your vegging. They will come right back.

Does MarsHydro offer a piggy back chord to attach two Old Style 120 x 5w lights? Can you piggyback these two to a MarsII 900 or should they all be on their own outlets?

You use your power cord and connect it to the Mars 2, only one light can piggy back and you do not want to exceed 1000 wall watts with any combination of lights you piggy back together and then make sure any power cords from the outlet if used can handle the draw
