Hi bagsyb, the coverage of Reflector 600w is 1.3mx1.3m at the height of 0.6m. 4pcs Reflector 600w will be enough for 2mx2mx2m tent. Right now, Reflector has been updated to 5w leds. Growers from US and Europe will get 5w leds, with better penetration.

Hello all,
New to all of this & wanting some advice on setting of with an LED tent.
Have a 2mx2mx2m tent with 12 pots, & am looking at 4 of the 600w 3w reflector units, my question is will this give enough coverage/penetration, or should I go for the mars 2 units.

MarsII 900w and MarsII 1200w do draw more power than single Reflecto 600w.

Personally id go for 2 MarsII 900W or a 1200W MarsII and a the biggest Reflector one to make up for the rest of the watts. probley a bit cheaper to and more power for the watt

thank you, randy, heat is also another thing for more attention. Higher wattage with 5w leds will run a little bit hotter.

I have the same area with two 900 watt Mars 2, one 144 x 5 reflector, one 96 x 3 reflector, one 96 x 5 reflector and a 60 x 5 old style and nine plants. When plants are small coverage is great but as they grow and flower areas of lower light intensity become obvious so it is either less plants or more light. The total area is 42 + sq feet so for total coverage around 2100 wall watts or a lot of light I like smaller lights that can be moved where needed over larger units but that is a personal choice.
I am ending my first grow in this tent and will add either a 1200 watt Mars 2 between the 900's or a 192 x 5 and add another 144 x 5 to replace the 60 x 5. My biggest complaint on these tents is the height, the plants need to be under 80 cm or you lose your coverage and when you find the monster with more tops than you can count and triples in size during flower height becomes a issue as does coverage hope this helps at least with LED's the plants can grow into the light and not burn

go with 4 panels of 1200W minimum .... each 1200W panel replace very well a 600W HPS and is perfect for a 1 square meter each ..... you have 4 square meters, so ...... each of theses 1200W panel consume around 525W at the wall

I just harvested my last plant of my first grow the Larry og Kush this morning and I just started my second grow this afternoon this time I will be growing Martian Kush clone by dna genetics I will be vegging under a mars II 400 and flowering under a mars II 700

Very Nice!

green crack popcorn buds and trim infused coconut oil with soy lecithin I decarboxylated the buds and trim in a Pyrex dish coved with foil for 30 minutes in the oven on low then put it in my little crock pot with 2 tsp. of soy lecithin on low for 3 hours and strained with cheese cloth cooled in the fridge now to make some brownies and mix some with some honey for my morning toast the oil is a little on the dark side because I used water leafs too but I don't care it still smells great

Ver nice DB!!! Two things. Use sunflower lecithin instead of soy to boost bioavailability. There are some issues with soy. Second, check out the Magical Butter Machine!!! It is awesome!

awesome job DB, be carefull with the edibles haha the first time i had them i didnt realize how much more intense the high could be i felt really uncomfortable

I prefer edibles, tinctures and cannabis oil to smoking. Only things that truly ease the pain for me. However I love a good smoke with friends!

It's said soy will grow ya a nice rack of boobs if that's yer thing

Sweet cheers for that will check it out. Might not be buying for a few more weeks; still thinking about it... Want to upgrade from CFL but dont want the heat issues so LED obvious choice...

There is also ledsolutions I think there eBay name is,pretty sure it's the same but if you buy direct through co finest's link(Mars)you will get a 3 year warranty instead of the 1 year through eBay and still will get to you the same amount of time.You won't regret it if you get them

Yes I think the ebay sellers marshydro, marshydro-uk, marshydro-de and marshydro-au are them. If you are on a budget, I bought some "old model" 300W from them on ebay, really cheap and they shipped very fast! So far I am very happy with the lights.

heuuuu ..... come on Sara .... 4 pcs of 600W cannot flower well in a 2X2 meters area, this is impossible ..... even if your stats say it can cover 1.3M, this is for VEGING not flowering. beleive me randy ..... 4 pieces of 600W are clearly not enought, you need 4 pieces of 1200W ....... maybe 4 pieces of 900W can be not bad but not full power as a HPS setting.

May I ask how long you had to let her flower to get 25%ish amber trich's?

She finished faster then I thought. I was figuring on 55 days or so. She was done in 49.
