Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

About CalMag supplement. I use GH Novaflora Bloom which has 4% Calcium and 2% Magnesium in it. Will I need to supplement that with my 96X3 reflector?

More than likely you will still need CalMag. I use GH Maxi powders, they are an all in 1 and have cal/mag and I still needed to supplement with MagiCal @10 ml/gal when I started under LED. Now I'm using 5 -7ml/gal and no signs of deficiencies.

I use between 10-15ml (2-3t) per gallon when I feed. I am using Fox Farms Trio for Nutes. :peace:

Hi Dennise, :tokin: money is always the priority. I am curious how much electricity you will consume.:hmmm:

Sara I have 2 Mars II 400's, a 144x5w, a 96x3w, and a 48x3w running in 2 tents that both have fans and filters running... one tent has a small intake fan and both have a small fan for circulation inside... My average increase in utilities since I have had this set up has been less than $30 a month and that also includes the a/c unit I put in that room last month.... I just got my utility bill yesterday and I think it has been in the entire billing cycle and I checked the last 3 years billing... It is less than it was last year by $26 and the 2 years before that were less than $20 difference... So with all that said the electric pull with what I am running right now is minimal....:circle-of-love:

I use FloraNova and yes you still need to add Cal Mag I am adding 3ml per gallon to replace what was taken out with RO water and then 1ml per gallon extra for the LED's my system is a recirculating system so with a waste system it may be different

Just received my 144x5 yesterday I'm stoked!

As far as cal/mag goes what amount do people recommend? I'm using the GO box, with normal feeding I give 5ml, when I throw them under the LED should I bump it up to 10ml?

Here are a few pics of the plants today.

First the Blue Kush.

You need to find the happy medium and your plants will let you know not enough and leaves will yellow, to much and you will get neut lock out and plants don't grow. It all depends on the water you use and how you are growing (soil or hydro) and the strain of plant you are growing.
The nice thing is if you are to low on your dosage the lower leaves will discolor first and let you know and adjust your feeding but too much and the plant stops growing and might be stunted for life. You should be able to see a healthy plant grow day to day if not something is not quite right

Hi DrVoo, we will change the light as promised. :circle-of-love: I will send you email. :Namaste:
Hi Sara, thanks, we will solve this finally.

No, Lucy havent contacted me yet, and if I can kindly ask you, please i dont want to work with her. What i´ve read here and based on my experiences with her, i really dont want to cooperate with her (i already wrote to you).

The only thing I need now is adress of your german store, where to send 144x3w back, when you will recieve them, send me those 144x5w as were invoiced and promised. Many thanks for your help Sara, cannot wait to test your new cree light.....
Have a really nice and sucesfull day.

Hmm... 2pcs MarsII 400w, 1pcs 144x5w, 1pcs 96x3w, 1pcs 48x3w and the fans combined will consume about 1kw/h electricity. If the cycle is 12/12, 12kw/h per day is not much. :thumb:
