Thanks, i will try 18" , 12" seems to stop growth for me.

hi

Hi, Pacopac. Thank you for attention our light!
Our light can work in France, it is EU plug and it is work from 85~265v.
With your spectrum, MarsII 900w is a bit big. you can choose the light not more than MarsII 700w.

Thank you for this fast answer.

You think that with one MarsII 700w I would have the same results as with my hps 400w?

thanx

Day 49.. Mars 2 900 watt. Super silver haze.
Sorry for sideways action. ..

That is truly beautiful. A large framed picture of that, next to my dogs playing poker (on velvet no less) would be nice.

Thats the height you need to know, 12", once you know what stops growth i say pull it 2/3" higher so they continue to grow and keep pulling it up, until you get the height you want, you are potentially controlling the height of your plants whilst maintaining the highest intensity, therefore "getting your moneys worth" from you light. Rope ratchet hangers are a must, £10/£$15!

I also agree that 2/3ft(24/36") is high for flowering, i was keeping my 3w LED's (although not Reflectors) about 12" away from a blooming plant, but could easily have gone to 6" had i not needed to cover more ground with the light!

As long as the plant isnt showing signs of...discomfort and isnt in contact with any heat put out by the light then i say the closer the better! Always with that consideration to internode spacing and spreading light equally over you canopy.

This is just a theory, i have only been using LED since Nov '13, but it seems to be holding up for me anyway ;) My Mars II's i keep further away

Sara has the ratchet rope hangers for 9 bucks. YO YO HANGER

Those things are a godsend. I can't imagine having to deal with chain, or worse even, rope/wire, to continually adjust the lights above the plants. Ratchet hangers and a small bubble level are all you need to setup any canopy light system.
