Did you not get the little guide sheet with light? IMO less then 12" is to close more then 36" is to far.

Go with the guide sheet to start with and then adjust according to how the plants behave. You can tell how far it is based on the size of the internode spacing of your plants. My mars 1200 is currently around 30" high at the moment, however the further into flowering they go the closer I moved them. Just make sure you can't feel heat from the lights when you place your hand on the highest point in your canopy
 
Ah, the proper height should be 2~3 feet!

Tarp Zippers arrived today, absolutely useless!!! Waste of money for sure...
Ended up buying some 50mm wide Velcro.. This is the best, noisy as hell to open lol but works a charm!!

This is the only tent I have ever made and it's more light proof than bought tents....

These pics are all rotated to the left (sideways) because of the way the pic was taken...
You can see on the last pic, the only light coming out is the passive intake, (need to build a light trap or something inside)..

But ask yourself: Would you have put off getting your light for 3 days to save $3? Or paid $3 to get your light 3 days early? :smoke2:

I am interested by the MarsII 900W

I am in France, I would like to know if it will work here in France (electricity...)

And think you that I would have good result in a darkroom 80cmX80cm (2,7ft X 2,7ft) with the marsII 900w?
( I used a hps 400w but i want to test led technology because it is better for "manage" the heat )
