Well, that's just it. With the exception of autoflowering strains, which do not rely on light/darkness as a signal to flower, cannabis' flowering cycle is triggered by light. Specifically, by the number of uninterrupted hours of darkness that it experiences each "night." If one has a two-section grow tent and wishes to use the larger section for flowering, with the smaller section used for vegetative growth, seedlings, and/or mothers... The two rooms will be on separate light/dark schedules. For example, 12 hours light/dark for the flowering side and 18 hours light / 6 hours dark in the vegetative growth side. Light-contamination of the plants on the flowering side during their "night" may inhibit flowering, delay it, cause unwanted leafy/stretchy growth, or even cause stress-induced hermaphrodism. All bad things, lol. The ability of that inner partition wall to completely block light transmission is very important.

I suggest LG-LED that you sponsor both an advanced grower and a newb.

As such I nominate myself for the newb category @bcescape

The last time I grew was in 1990. A sloppy closeted affair but minor success achieved. A lot older now, many veggies, lawns and ornamental flowers under the belt and stepping into the game again now that the older body needs meds.

Im looking at getting your tent and lights anyways... so maybe at least a discount code? :idea

Thanks to the awesome forum. Have learned a lot pre grow and am confident with this info and support I will be much more successful almost 3 decades later.... time flies friends! The interweb ain't all bad afterall.
