Looking good.. Is this last years grow? Looking for your journal. I found You growing GG Autos but last day you posted was day 59.

nice first grow mate. congrats :Rasta:will still want smoke report on bud.

your going to love and hate the auto`s mate. love the experimental grow!!
5gal is most popular for autos but really your room size is deciding factor.
3 or 5gal both are good and how you work plants and placement in tent matters just as much as 2gal diff i think. 5gal may be easier to look after because it hold more water(soil) but if you got to jam pots in just to use 5gal good luck.

New Grow Questions;
-are you amending your coco and soil ?? or just soil.

Soil: I will be very interested to see how the auto and FF goes, i`m assuming your just using straight water.
Coco: using nut`s when watering or amending or both.
I've been smoking my first grow for a couple weeks now.... It's some of the best smoke I've ever had. It's smooth and very tasty. It smells amazing. It can only get better. While growing this I experienced a few top shelf dispensary buds so I could judge my stuff. My stuff is better than anything I bought from dispensary.

I need the kitten lungs report :yummy:
-Smell like lemon or more sweet spicy dank smell, could you taste any hint of lemon or piney well smoking?
-how did it hit you , straight to head hard or light cerbal "uplifting ". Does any kind of body stone creep in after and how long a stone would you guess?
-Dry mouth, munchies after
-is it a keeper (always have a few beans on hand) in the plantdaddy man cave or 'i like but try something else'

sorry mate i'm stickler for details :) smiley emoji everything all good here.

You're right... I wasn't very descriptive. Yes very sweet pine citrus smell and taste. It puts me to sleep but not so much of a couch lock. My little pussy lungs wonder what the hell I've been smoking my whole life. Smooth as silk to smoke. I've been vaping it in my Pax when not just smoking joints. Thats where I can really taste it's clean flavor the best. Very relaxing and i can't stop eating. It's a bit of a creeper, but I'm no one hit pony. I will roll pretty fat joints and smoke half to 2/3 and empty a full Pax oven. It's also a pretty sticky product to handle. They're still a few jars that haven't come around yet. I think they are maybe too dry. I will leave lids on them and let humidity pack work. 80% of Jars have cured nicely. I've been opening everyday for the last month.

Looking good! I'll be curious to see which you like better....autos or photos, when this is done.
I know why people grow in soil now. It's the easiest. It's a bit of a no brainer if you just get out of their way. I love the Coco. I love the way the Autos are growing in it. Having to water daily is a pain. I will never use 3 gallon coco again. 3 gallon is going to need twice a day watering. So far I think Coco is the way to go for Autos. Roots Develop quickly in this medium and Auto love it. Still not sure on yields but I can clearly see the head start Coco plants have.

That's the same reason I won't do Coco. To me, filling 5 gallon buckets with water and schlepping them around is the worst part of growing. Growing in Coco would substantially increase the filling/schlepping rate!

If I was a young man it might not matter. Unfortunately, I'm only young at heart. :Rasta:

So right... I love the way the autos are growing in it tho. This grow has been a learning lesson for sure. So far I think It will be my Auto soil. Maybe 7 gallon pots tho. I don't think I'd want to lift a 7 gallon pot tho.. If the yield is similar then I don't see the point tho.

They certainly are outpacing the soil plants! :Rasta:

I'm not sure I could do coco. Sometimes I have to leave my house for a day or two and when Covid ends it may be longer. I may have to do hyrdo next time ha.

Lifting 7 gal soil pots isn't too bad. 10 gal would be a pain

I'm thinking 7 gallon would be a good size for autos in coco. I wouldn't have said that a month ago.

Day 36

I'm watering Betty twice a day now and trying to water Norma Three times a day.

Betty and Norma are very close. Both are getting some nice bud sites.

Edith has got small but growing bud sites still. June looks like a couple weeks behind others. She is just now starting to flower.

looking good! you should get some good bacteria with all those worm casting and molasses:yummy: plants will be happy

wonder if moving that floor fan to soil side would matter, strengthen the branching on smaller plants (i'm guessing you haven't moved fan or pots around).

Q-have you noticed 2 gallon difference yet in the coco plants? are the plants roots showing on top of coco mix or soil in the different sizes pots yet?

Q-you picked smaller coco mix pot in your contest , why you pick that one?

Q- does everyone who picks winning plant have to split all the weed they win?

I picked Norma because she is under dog in the coco 3 gallon. Norma and Betty look close in size now but Betty has better chance in 5 gallon. Betty is a little bigger. I don't see any roots on top. I do have two fans on top blowing. Bottom fan is just to move air a little and blow some co2 around. Three fans running at all times give me some peace of mind.
Leaving plants in same place. 5 gallon in the back and Coco on the left side. Betty is on the floor. Norma is on one book to raise her to same height as betty. Edith is up on risers too a couple inches below top. She is a few days behind Norma and Betty flowering so she is a little lower for less light. June is on the floor 6-7 inches lower than top of canopy. She is just starting to show flower, maybe two weeks behind. I've got my lights at about 16 inches dimmer is 100%. I will get that light down to 12 inches over the next week or two.
