A Marijuana growing operation has been shut down in one part of the Tri-Cities.
Greene County authorities say they spotted marijuana plants growing on property off of Old Kentucky Road South in the county, while doing drug air patrols. Ivestigators say Rickie Allen Shaw was arrested after authorities found finished marijuana in his residence. Officers also found a small building used to grow pot indoors. Approximately 50 plants were seized.
Shaw has been charged with manufacturing marijuana and is being held on $1,500 dollars bond.
