Marijuana and vinegar

Does anyone know if thc can be extracted into vinegar, lemon juice or any other alkaline substances? i have heard rumors of people doing this and would like to know the general consensus.

Vinegar is mildly acid rather than alkaline. To my knowledge pH variation will not solve trichomes.

Safe and effective extraction is best accomplished through agitation and and/or size exclusion, and best when performed cold (trich's snap off easier)

If you're looking for hash making methods, Gumby is the easiest in my personal opinion.

There's a bunch of ways to go. However we don't condone solvent extractions where heat is involved due to safety reasons.

Evaporative solvent extraction is less unsafe and we do discuss it but do not recommend it
