Male or Female?

White Widow Feminized strain and about 2.5 months old. Currently just 5 days into flowering. I have two other plants the same age and they don't have the little balls around their branches so I thought this might be a male. This one is also not near as bushy as the other two.

i cant see the pic clear enough to give a 100% correct answer.

A female calyx and a male pollen sac are both tear drop shaped, but the female is more pointed on the top, and the male looks like a tulip about to open. The clear indication of male is when then tear drop has a little stem, like this picture below. These are BAD BAD BAD and can pollinate your entire room. You can pay a lot of money for dutch master "reverse" to kill these pollen sacks, or you can pick them off, but when I see this... I throw it away, and not risk pollination.

Are you 100% sure? I know Feminized seeds aren't a for sure thing but I want to be sure before I get rid of it.

I have never seen calyxes grow in clusters like that, this early. If it gives you piece of mind, by all means, keep the plant and wait it out for a few days to make sure. They shouldn't drop pollen for a couple weeks at least..

It's too bad the rules don't permit you to say which seedbank you bought them from. It would be beneficial to other members to know these things.

Do u have others if so breed it, it's a great looking male. Tight nodes, + u r doing well judging from health, if the trait of the pollen sac transcends into the female that would be extremely dense buds on a already heavy weight strain. If u don't mind a batch of seed u could end up with a truly great pheno!

I would entertain this because I do have 6 other WW plants going right now. I could actually use the room in the grow room. I'm guessing that if i'm only looking for seeds i wouldn't have to keep the light real intense correct? Would a couple of CFL's do the trick? Also, I would like your opinion on how the other plant (female for sure) the same age looks compared to this one. The confirmed female is a lot bushier and seems to have more bud spots. I'm still new to this so I'm not sure which plant looks better. If the confirmed female looks better I'm guessing there is now point in trying to get seeds.

edit: I forgot to mention that I just watered her tonight. She was really thirsty and a bit droopy.

She looks a lot like mine, it seems to be a bit heavy on nitrogen, but this strain needs a lot in flower, mine showed deficiencies by wk 3. That one looks good tho how is the node spacing was it easy to grow, did it grow quickly, were others effected by something and this one had a resistance. R u picking it because it's the biggest? I don't have experience with cfl so idk about the wattage

Nodes are tight. You have to stick your head in there to get a good count. Mine both started to show deficiencies around 30 days as well. I'm not sure if they grew quickly because this is my first attempt at it. It was around 26" tall/65ish days old when I put into flower 7 days ago. My other plants are only 45 days old so I was just picking this one because its the same age as the potential male.

i love those fat indica leaves.. what ever u decide to do with your ball-sack visitor i hope it works out for u .
