Mainline Help

I started the mainline technique from seed. Topped per Nugbucket suggestion at node points.

I'm using the gas lantern routine for lighting with LEDs. I topped for 8 main colas. Now I have upwards of 16 due to the LST required in mainlining. Is that normal?

Do you have a pic? Nugbuckets trims all growth under where he tops maybe that's why?

Am I supposed to lollipop in flower? I have some rather larger fan leaves blocking some emerging flowers.

Should I defoliate? Is the light penetration too low on these?
