Poached And Broiled Asparagus
Ingredients
4 tablespoons Magical Butter's lemongrass, ginger and wasabi butter
1 bunch fresh asparagus (washed and cut 2 inches off the bottom)
2 sprigs fresh thyme
Pink Himalayan salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
How To
1. Place your oven broiler on high and place the rack in the middle of the oven.
2. Add all of the ingredients in a large saute pan and cook for 10 minutes on medium low heat, turning occasionally.
3. Remove asparagus from butter in the pan and place on an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet and broil on high until it has a slight char on all sides. About 3 - 5 minutes per side.
4. Remove from oven and top with a little fresh thyme and hot butter from the pan and serve.
