This is an outdoor grow, using my own mix of "super soil " consisting of composted horse, goat, and chicken manure. My base soil is Kellogg's organic outdoor container soil. I added blood and bone meal, epsom salt, earthworm castings, and espoma compost/plant starter for the beneficial microorganisms. (Mycorrhizae, and several different bacteria).

I am using @30 gallon containers. The bottom 1/4 is pure compost with perlite added throughout the layers of soil. Next layer is compost, Kellogg's and perlite. Finally finished with Kellogg's and perlite only.

I started 1 each of Barney's Red Diesel, Peyote Critical, and a Triple Cheese, inside around the middle of February , under a 600 watts phlizon LED light, and a LED 60 W equivalent bright white bulb for the "green wavelength ".

I moved the Red Diesel outdoor on 4/20, the Peyote Critical 1 week later, and the Triple Cheese @2 weeks after the Red Diesel.

1 month ago I started a Lemon OG Candy. I believe that the pictures that I will post were taken @ 5/27.

The order of the pictures are:
Triple Cheese
Lemon OG Candy
Peyote Critical
Red Diesel

This is my 3rd your of growing.

Awesome start, looking forward to watching the progress @Madmel ! Cheers, luck to your grow!
Thank you!

Time for an update.

I've had a lot of rain lately. I think I might need to give them a trim pretty soon. The 3 from Barney's farm are all about 1 square meter, maybe a little more on the Triple Cheese. Although the Triple Cheese is only 29" high, it is 49"w x39"l.
picture order are
Red Diesel
Peyote Critical
Lemon OG Candy
Triple Cheese

No, I am clueless about the linking of posts and much appreciated that you took the time to help an old man out. Thanks!

lol I am old so bear with me. I tried what the tutorial said, but signature was not even shown. Is that because I am so new, with so few posts?

After almost a week of rain, my girls have shot up and are starting to flower.

Crazy looking leaves on that top one.
Plants are looking great! Gorgeous chemovars. Tagging along...
That is my Peyote Critical. Yeah, she started flowering not long after I moved her outside, then went back into veg state, now blooming again.

I'm fairly certain that it is because from mid-February to April 20, they were indoors under a phlizone 600w LED, on a 18/6 schedule. Once outside I only had @ 13+1/2 hours of daylight. Not sure, but I can't think of anything else that it would be.

could only load 10 pictures one more left...

Incredible Mel, those are some really nice ones! I think I made a big mistake this year by planting my plants to close together. What’s your opinion when you see my plants do they need to be trimmed you think? Thanks Mel! Cheers!

my two closest plants are about 3 feet apart(edge of pot to edge of pot)....next time I will move them to 4 or 5 feet apart. It won't be long until I will have a hard time getting between them.

You see, it's pretty humid and I have to keep spreading the limbs apart to improve the air flow.

Just keep it in mind for the next time. Other people may be of a different opinion, but that is mine.

Weekly update time.

Temperature this week has been in the high 80's, lower 90's (Fahrenheit). Scattered showers, usually what I call "afternoon thunder bumpers". So I only had to water the plants one time this week... Just enough to keep them going.

I top dressed with my compost, and earthworm castings. I am also trying something out with my Lemon OG Candy. I added some orange peel to the soil, hopefully to boost /enhance the limonene terpene profile.

I know, I know, what you really want is to see the pot porn lol, so have a good look …

Something else I want to show that I am doing. I have seen this used on bonsais training them to the desired shape. It is less stressful than the usual bending the branches I normally do.

Using regular old household electrical wiring to force the limb where you want it to grow. You can get it from just about anyone who is having a house rewired. 1 4 foot piece gave me 12 feet of wire to use. More than enough for 1 plant.

This is my Lemon OG Candy.
