i been finishing stuff at about 3 - 4 ft for a while now. i use shelving units to lift the plants so it saves on folks backs as well.

Yeah I have two areas to veg. But one is a clone box and seedling area. So had to move some garden plants over put them under that light for few weeks more get taller. . I want some taller but not too tall. Already need to bring floor up to waist high and get off my knees watering them

i have shelving units side by side in my grow spaces to create floating floors.

there's three in this pic. i drop the floor if i max the light head room. you never have to reach down to the very bottom to move stuff around or pull them out.

I got to do that but I want a complete floor and steps to put little ones on and bigger ones on the bottom. Might have to make something idk . Dont know if I want the work. I got enough around the house. But yeah I want bigger plants. Like this GSC I have. She is about 2 ft now.

just adjust each shelf individually lol ... it's super easy. each shelf is adjustable by about 6 inches. i just put them at the same level if i need to make a 'floor'.

edit : also like your use of oven racks. i've had old / used oven racks for yrs that i've used if i needed racking or grates.

Right. I have issue of one plant this high and this one small. But needs same amount of light. Age old issues I guess. Need a floating floor. Can raise up with a button. Like we had in aerospace. Bring flour to the top .
