The reservoir was changed yesterday. Continuing to use General Hydroponics recommended amounts for 17 gallons in Early Growth. Normally I would be using a stronger concentration of nutrients at this stage of growth, but this strain doesn't like a lot in their feed. The PH is staying in the desired range, checked this morning.
Also added a spoonful of Epsom salts, 60ml CalMag+, and 35ml PH down to reach the 6-6.5 range.

These plants are getting big. It will be challenge to control them for ten more days. I'm leaning more towards flipping right before going to the hospital, rather than waiting four days more.

I'm still spreading and pruning after the pictures are taken.

Just changed out the first CO2 bottle and got lucky at the gas refill. They refilled it on the spot. I expected to drop it off as I had before. I will shut down the CO2, and put the AC in vent mode to bring in ambient air, when I'm at the hospital. Just need my helper to keep the reservoirs topped up every day if possible and keep my fingers crossed nothing breaks.

Thanks No Pain! The surgeon told me that it should hurt less this time. I hope he's right. I like the CO2 but dang it's expensive Next grows I'll start it at flip and run it through about 55-60 days afterwards. That might not hold for the tropical sativas though.

Still finding a few places to make adjustments and things that need to be trimmed or pruned. The plants are looking good, have a good smell, and are already sticky. This strain has potential.
I will put up the 2nd screen just above the canopy soon, this strain should stay short, so the screen will mostly be used to support and guide them to separate holes in the screen.

They are drinking a lot and the dehumidifier is keeping the RH in the desired range.

The plants are looking good and growing well. The 2nd screen framework has been set up. The 2nd screen will be set 10inches/ 25cm above the 1st screen.
A little more moving and pruning was performed during today's morning check.
I've turned the CO2 off until I get back from the hospital. The AC mode has been changed from re-circulate to vented mode, to bring in ambient CO2 and the dehumidifier is handling the RH just fine at the moment. On Monday, I'll put one of the 6" exhaust fans on a timer to bring in some fresh cool air during lights off.

Reservoir change today. The recommended amounts of General Hydroponics three part liquid nutrients for 17 gallons in Early Growth. A spoonful of Epsom Salt and 60ml CalMag+ were added. The res. was PHed to 6-6.5 with 35 ml PH down.

The timers were reset on the lights and the reservoir water pumps to a 12/12 light schedule. Day 0 of flip.

The 2nd screen was added to the frame and secured.

It was hard to decide whether to flip before or after the hospital. Before won out.

I'm due to leave for the hospital and surgery at 1030, so I had a chance to check out the grow area this morning. Topped up the reservoir and added a little PH up. I hope nothing breaks while I'm away.
If the internet works okay, I'll be on 420 during my visit. Probably not today though.

The grow room is running normally.
I just got back from the hospital this afternoon and I just had to have a look at them. I will slide into the more difficult task. I still get nauseous a little just trying to do simple things.
The wife kept the reservoir topped up every day while I was away, and everything seems to be running fine. I've got a little opening up to do and spread some of the stalks into areas without them. They continue to look healthy. Both sides of the grow area were in an acceptable PH range when I checked
The grow areas were put back into CO2 mode and the regulator plugged in.

The reservoir was changed yesterday. Added 75% of General Hydroponics recommended amounts of three part liquid nutes for 17 gallons in Transition. A spoonful of epsom salts and 60ml CalMag+ were added. PHed to 6-6.5.

Everything checked fine this morning. They are starting to show flowers and stretch is underway. I don't expect them to stretch much, but one can hope.

I still tire too easily to get in there and thin them out. I did move a few taller stalks to more open areas. With all my fans and the dehumidifier doing it's job, I'm not too worried about the thickness, and will get to it when I can. I should give the AC credit too, for keeping things agreeable in the grow area. The CO2 system is humming right along too.

The plants continue to look good and are still stretching. The start of flowering is becoming more obvious. A little thinning was done in front. Still don't have the energy to spend the time needed to clean them up properly.

Thanks Stone. I don't think it will take too long to get back to gardening strength, maybe a little longer to start pushing the lawn mower.
Unlike my previous hospital stays, I knew about this one two weeks out, so I tried my best to think it through, so all the wife had to do was top up the reservoir. Fortunately, nothing broke in the grow area. I do believe the MAC is really going to be something special. It smells wonderful. Not skunky. Like walking into a room full of flowers and ripening fruit with a blindfold on. Don't get me wrong, I like skunky too.
I hope they stretch a few more inches which will help with the final harvest amount. Never much under the net usually especially with the wide leafed strains.

The plants have given me, what i believe to be the perfect stretch at this very moment for a perfect finish, if I do my part and the electric company does theirs. They can get a little taller and that would be all the better but they have reached the minimum for what I consider a good harvest.

The light height has been maxed out and there's plenty of room left for growing but enough distance to let the light reach the outer perimeter of the net.

I know I've mentioned this before, but this some fine smelling cannabis already. Lot's of little budlets everywhere.

The grow area is running normally. The water pump may be going out though. I've got spares so no worries. The water seems to be filling the tray slower. I'll be keeping a close eye on it.
Already verified the problem wasn't roots filling the fill/drain hose. I cleaned some out a couple days ago. Once everything stops stretching the root growth should slow.

The girls are looking good and may even be still stretching. From the looks of things now, I've gone from expecting a good harvest to expecting an outstanding harvest. Lots of bud sites above the screen that should fill out nicely.
