I am testing my skills at growing multiple strains.
I'll give myself a solid C-.
Trying to get better.
Mainly wondering about leaf edge necrosis.
8/24 16 days ago I planted
1 Durban Poison fem @seedsupreme
1 CBD Kush fem @seedsupreme
1 Black Opal x Zkittles fem @Irvineseedcompany
2 Pineapple Express Reg @Premiumseedmarket
2 Super Lemon Haze Reg @Premiumseedmarket
2 Blue Dream Reg @Premiumseedmarket
2 Skunk #1 Reg @Premiumseedmarket
2 OG Kush x Pineapple Express Reg @JohnEHaze (my first cross)
13 days ago also planted clones from outdoor grow 1 z99 @brothergrimm and 2 ak-47 @seedsupreme.
The temps have been high in the low 80's
So I have had the humidity between 70-75%
Lights on about 20 hours a day just decreased to 18 hours
PPFD 400-500 for seedlings and 600-700 for the clones. (clones taller and closer to lights)
They are watered w light nutes between 200-400 ppm (16-3-16- Ca-4)
The Durban Poison fem, CBD Kush fem and Black Opal x Zkittles are all in 3 gallon fabric pots.
The regular seeds are all in 1 gallon fabric pots. I will upsize after sexing.
Soil is pro-mix for seedling in about 12 oz area within each pot and the rest is reamended used soil. Added gypsum, alfalfa, humus azomite.
One of my OG kush x Pineapple Express and Blue Dream has some necrosis at edges of lower leaves. This was also present minimally in a pineapple express.
Pineapple Express also had some curling of the leaves which I think is heat stress.
The Blue Dreams were about a day behind in germinating and are smaller. One of the stems comes out of soil horizontally. The other one is droopy and may have been overwatered.
The Super Lemon Haze look light green and I wonder if they need more nitrogen
Clones have recovered after their 20 day journey to get roots. They look okay.
I was wondering if leaf edge necrosis is a K deficiency of a weird nutrient burn. I am also considering a fungus.
Any thoughts would be helpful.
