Looking for LED input

Hey all. Broke down and ordered a mars II 900 for my flower room. I must have been looking at a different light than what I actually ordered because this does not seem to have a grow/bloom switch. Did I drop the ball here if I am replacing the lights in my flower room?? Any input would be great.

I had the same thing with 2 X 1200s I just bought. No switches like my 1600. From what I've read they're not the series II. They're the original Mars Hydro. But hey, I'm usually wrong. But I'm replying purely because I had the same issue and that was the best answer I could come up with after doing some reading when I was stumped.

Oh definitely. The issue (that I've found) is that it's a VERY strong light. Way too much for seedlings and young plants. I used my 1600 on veg mode for vegetation obviously and when I switched to flower I'm using the flower only mode. I will switch to full spectrum at week four. I feel it's too much to begin with and will stunt growth. Too much light is easy to rectify though. Without the switch, just maintain a safe distance from the plant.

Beat me to it! I was just coming back in here to let go4 know about the Mars Hydro LED discussion thread. Get on it.
