Hi I have used these bulbs in the past (from when they were first introduced to the growers market) back in the early 90's made by Iwasaki lighting or what is now EYE Lighting Hortilux Daylight bulbs with an enhanced blue spectrum. I have used these straight through flower and have witnessed first hand the benefits of using this bulb vs only Super Sodiums. That being said for peak performance I run both lamps the Daylight MH and the Hortilux Super Sodium for optimal effect
While I have not used Sun Pulse I believe these bulbs are the next best thing to the sun when used in combination with HPS lamps indoors. The growth in veg and increased yield in flower are why the grow stores get away with charging $240-$275 per 1000wt lamp.
It is the bulb on the extreme right.
I am trying to find a distributor of these lamps who does not charge these outrageous prices. The police seized all my lights and grow equipment destroying my garden so I have to re-buy all the equipment over and am now ready to purchase a case of these. (6 case)
If anybody can help I would be grateful.
