Lights too close or 1000W too strong?

Hey guys I bumped my 11 and 7 day old plants up from 750w to 1000w today and the 7 day Dutch Treat is starting to lean and grow away from the light and leaves are drooping. The light is 33" away from the tops, is it too close or too much power for the 7 day old plants?

I think you, and your babies answered that question for you. If they are reacting negatively, then there is too much light. Babies don't need that kind of power. Nor can they handle it. That is like putting a human infant out into the noonday sun without any protection.

Cut back to 500W and adjust the height if necessary. You can add wattage when they are juveniles. Oh,and keep a fan circulating the air 24/7. This prevents hot spots and encourages evaporation of excess humidity. Also toughens up their stems.
