Lights flicked on

They used to say that light disruption would cause hermie-ing . not sure if that's true or not,
I will leave a couple of feet of the tent door open during the "dark" time as a way to stabilize the temperatures inside the tent if the lights come on before I wake up. That bit of an opening is enough that light from the vegetating area will let someone inside the tent could read a book; not an easy read but it could be done.

On occasion I have left the door open and in that case the vegetating area lights are enough that someone in the tent could read easily read a book. And, I have left the room light right over the door on all night with the tent door wide open.

If the plants are stable then it does not produce male flowers at any nodes nor a single anther coming out of a bud. Stable plants like my Blue Dream or Peanut Butter Cup clones from clones from clones will only produce the anthers if the plant has been in a flowering stage for 10 or 11 weeks and even then it is just the occasional anther and not full male flowering.

My opinion is that any female plant that starts to show signs of male flowers at or after the 3rd week of flowering and before the 9th week is unstable and will show hermaphrodite signs even under a schedule of "picture perfect" complete dark.

should I change the hours and give them back that time over a duration or just leave the cycle how it is?
