Gday guys
Can any one give me an idea of $ per qtr using a 600 watts MH 6400K
Also looking to buy new bulbs for 2 nd grow
any ideas on best opt-in for 400 watts or 600 watts ( I have ballast )
2 x2x1.20 tent
Also is tubular set up for bulb or just bulb and reflector best

That depends on the cost of power, and how long it is on. The calculation is:
power(in Kw) X total hours on X power rate
A 600W light on for 12hrs per day, 365 days per year, and a power rate of 0.15 per Kwh the cost would be:
0.6 X (12 X 365) x 0.15 = 394.20

I don't know if HID is a good fit for that small a space. You could run into heat and height problems. Unless your ballast is dimable, the 400W light will probably be too much for that size of tent.

I have 8 mullimbimby madness outside in rocky point seed raised
They are just popping up now
Is it ok to put them in rent under a bulb say 8.5 watt or what do u suggest for first 7-10 days am I thinking right way,need advice

I have them outside in seed raising just starting to pop heads up
What should I put them under now in rent the 600watt or something g smaller like 8.5 watt little globe till they are stdonge

Given that you have nothing suitable at this stage, I would leave them outside until they have got their first two proper leaves properly formed. 600w is overkill for them and your electricity bill at their current stage.

Can you please give me an idea on what you think is suitable for early stage seedlings in terms of light etc as I have a specially built room

Give them whatever you using.. raise height at seedling stage so as to not burn but not to high that they stretch out.. lower lights onto them as they start to veg..
