is really better to have h.p.s 12" away from plants 24" fine.any help is welcomed.by the way it's 250wts. free tokers of da world

check with your hand, adjust so that your hand is not hot when you hold at the top of canopy. with a 250w, i would guess somewhere between 12" and 24"
