hello All. I Guess Im A Newbe, I Just Changed From 20/4 (m.h.) To 12/12 (h.p.s.) Ive Used The Hps Before. Anyway To Tell If Its Losing Strengh. I Lost Track Of How Many Hours Of Use.

I have used the same lamp for 3 years. I know that is longer than normal, but I am still getting excellent results. I will be getting a new lamp to flower my current grow.

read somewhere they have 20,000 hours lifespan then start losing its strength ,i change mine every year or so. just my preference mate.
as said though they do start to go slow when used for too long.

Well I use cheap regular 1K HPS bulbs that run me less than $50.00 each so I change mine out every year as well.
