Light cycle

I have three Gorilla Glue clones under lights 24/0. I need to replace two plants in my scrooging screen which is on a 22/2 cycle. Will the two hour reduction cause the plants to start flowering?

To begin flowering a plant must have “long nights” i.e.... 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness, and just because you do this for a night or two it still isn’t enough to start the flower cycle. If a plant is young and immature it may take 3 weeks to switch over and start producing hairs or pistol stigmas which are a visible sign of flowering cycle. When a plant has staggered or uneven node spacing near the top that is an indication the plant is sexually mature. A sexually mature plant will flip over faster than an immature plant. Once you flip the lights to 12/12 you will need to stay on that light schedule all the way to the harvest. It’s best to not revert back to a “long day” lighting schedule like 18/6, the plant will be ok but will go back to the veg cycle
