Light Addict's Fluxing Central - Featuring The Original Flux Journal

Hi LA! Just finished catching up on your journal. That is one awesome plant- such beautiful symmetry. I'll follow along if you don't mind- looking forward to seeing her grow:)

I think you have an upper edge s1ing b/c you have 3 semi mature main shoots to bind down and work from. I bet when your little freak lady is all grown up, she'll look like a sparkly snow flake.

You should have seen his post it was funny as hell. They weren't even cheap flipflops lol
Yes, it was hilarious!

Girl's shoes are never cheap ...
But they buy them by the truck load & look at us like we're crazy when we buy 1 pair of boots.

& you wonder why my babies aren't allowed to visit their Bruncle LA;

I cant imagine being able to weave such a work of art with my "Tri-Pod" but Im willing to try about anything once lol
Just about anything but not quit.

I wasn't sure if I should re-divert the flow of convo, so I posted a question in the Frequently Asked. LA et al, please have a look see.

Pruning to terminate growth

Post your question here so we can all get some insight.

Does anyone have literature or an opinion on pruning to terminate growth? I currently know that topping will produce 2 new growths, but does this rule apply during flowering? A fellow 420er (Light Addict) developed a new style of growing called Fluxing whereby a plant is topped once very low to the ground and LSTed straight out to the walls then all growth is allowed to grow upwards. I plan to grow out 1 maybe 2 (depending on gender of both) plants in a grow cabinet and stretch each plant out to produce 12-16 bud sites each. I know when the horizontal branching is being developed, there's a good chance that more side branches will grow than I want and may feel the need to chop the extras down to divert max potential to branches I leave growing. The thing is, I probably don't want to do that if cutting off a side branch will force the stem that supplies it to grow out 2 more shoots.

When topping you purposely leave the tiny points for new growth to form. when pruning you dont, also this kind of regrowth is mainly found when your working at the point of new growth such as branch tips etc. Ive stripped every other grow point along flux then cleared all growth points within the centre with no probs. As long as you take all the end part leaving no point for new growth you should be golden.
Hope I understood you buddy!

When I grow a centipede, I may want to lop off as much as every other leg.

Hey all some leaf colour issues today! Firstly little Molly Mcfly is suffering with brown rusty spots on her leafs. She has had this all the way through. First set of leafs were bad so I got rid of em now it has spread to the newer growth. I know WW is normally quite sensitive to nutes and my soil does have john Innes in it, which lasts for a couple of weeks. Also I dont have any fan going in my veg area, could limited air movement be causing heat spots?
Now on to little Gitt! She is for the whole looking ok. Just some slight colour changes in some of her leaves. Pics coming up!

Oh guess what my clone attempt has failed, had a look gently at whether any roots were forming. Nada! I think its my cheap as cloning gel to honest. Gonna build my own bubble cloner soon. Jay I'll be cutting up flipflops within the week!

Hey AG, It shouldn't make any difference, the main flux is only gonna be let to grow another couple of inches in length on both sides. Then both ends will be topped. The offshoots (legs) will just keep getting stripped as they grow outwards. She will be totally bare in the middle as I want all energy hitting the branch ends/bud sites for big colas!

May the queen of LA's castle abound with many fruitful colas...May those colas reach to the ends of the earth and as they do may they be embraced by an abundance of shimmering frosty trichs
