LED question

Hi guys,im using an led on one of my plants,the plant is bushing out nicely but not gaining height,i started with the led half a meter above and now ive got it about 12 inches above the plant ,im thinking maybe i should change to cfl ? ,any advice welcome

What kind of LED is it?

!2 to 18" is best for most of the cheaper LED's.

CFLs would in all likelyhood be a downgrade. To get enough CFLs vs LED (depending on panel) you will gain alot of heat. That was the main reason I switched.

What power is your led? I'm running a 950, 600, and two 300 in a 4x8. I keep the 950 about 30 inches above and the 600 and 300's at about 12 inches. Getting good results.
I run two 300's and a 6 bulb t5 in my veg and the plants seem to love the t5 better. Not sure why.

Just play around with them and listen to your plants. They will let you know what they like.
